Anybody take ballet? Then please help me!?

We have to wear our hair in a bun with a hairnet around the bun, and secure it with bobby pins. My bobby pins NEVER work! They always fall out. It is very very annoying. My hair is about medium thickness. Does anyone know about a good brand of bobby pins that work? Please and thank you!

Um, i might have the same type of hair as you. I use Bunheads bobby-pins. They are a size small, but in reality they are like maybe two inches long and the bent end is kind of square shaped. These hold in really well, also the sides are wavy. And what I do is put the bun up not too high up on my head, but in a way where I can get a lot of hair. Kind of back of the head. And I put it up in a ponytail. Then I twist the hair and coil it around the center of the ponytail- like where the scrunchies are. I still hold the general shape of the bun with one hand and with the other I stick in the bobby-pins wherever it feels loose. It has to feel secure, then you know you are about done. You can put in a few more pins just to be safe. Only then do I put on the hairnet. The hairnet kind of keeps the pins from falling out. And when the net is on I put on another scrunchy to keep the net on and it also tightens the bun, so you're positive it won't come out. You make sure it’s secure by jumping around or shaking your head. If it isn’t you may want to take off the scrunchy and net and stick in a few more pins. K, well hope this helps!!
