Is this a proper ballet outfit?

what do you usually wear to dance? i just started ballet and i usually wear black spandex running tights (i tried the ballet tights and they were really uncomfortable but my running tights fit perfectly), white ballet flats, and a white leotard which are under the tights. we're also required to wear white socks with the tights if our tights are not footed so i'm wearing white socks with the ballet flats.

also, if i have a leotard would i still need a dance belt?

sounds to me as u have everything u need|||thats the right out fit and i think you still need the belt cos my sis does ballet and they all wear the belt|||Well...I wear a pink leotard without a skirt...tights and ballet shoes...same for tap...

But the lads wear like a white leotard with black leggins on top and black ballet shoes.
