We had a discoussion about this in my film disscousion group, and most people said, no, becasue Gene Kelly's charachter wasn't asleep. But i disagree. Frued says that dreams are furfillment of wishes, and gene ke;;y's charachter was simply wishing about what he wanted with his life. and how his love and him and thier romance. thoughts?

I think it was a dream, even though he was not sleeping. If you saw 'On the Town' the same sort of 'dream' happened with Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse (sp).
