I need help w/ ballet?

i need help in jazz and ballet w/ foutte turns and stags/double stags. anyone got any tips that could help me. plz only answer if you are a dancer i dont want any i dunno's just so u can get 2 pts.

I was and still am I am surprised to say very good a fouettes... I practised at the barre. Doing singles one after the other.

You have to prep with the develope devant on demi plie then to second then whip your foot into releve position as you lift up onto demi point on your supporting leg - at the same time -you turn. You have to grab the barre as you come around and hold the releve position to be sure you have completed the turn correctly.... then come down into demi plie on your supporting leg develope devant and start again.

You will discover just how much or little oomph you need to put into each turn and it will allow you to get it right once you go into the centre - what is more this will help you with your spotting- which has to be "spot on" (sorry about the pun) to do 32 or more....
