Would it be ok if i did ballet and jazz or would these two mess me up together?

i want to do ballet but im not sure if i should becuase i am doing jazz right now and im concerned that if i do ballet that it will mess me up in jazz becuase these two are sooooo different

i do jazz and ballet. i personally think that people who do both jazz and ballet turn out to be better at both. at my studio, they encourage you to do ballet for everything so i would say that ballet wont mess you up. it hasn't done anything bad for me so far. but whatever you want. no you can definetly take both at the same time!!

taking ballet classes will only improve your technique and improve your jumps and turns in jazz

Actually is it great if you can do a lot of different dances, if you are going to be professional. Try to search "Anaheim Ballet Bboys and Bunheads" On You Tube.|||No it wouldn't mess you up I take ballet, jazz, pointe, modern, tap, and hip hop. And the ballet is like the core style of dance for all the others styles. Once you start to do ballet you will see and improvement in your dancing. So go for it =)
