Does everyone dream of writing their own stories?
But, in spite of all that. If you think you have a shot and you want to write, do it. It never hurts to try and even bestselling authors have to get their start somewhere. After you've written something you really love, then worry about getting it published.|||I've always had stories in my head, probably because my mother used to tell me stories ALL the time, which I loved. I have a soft spot for the genre of Fantasy, and I've been writing since I've been able to ...write. lol. I, personally, am working on my own full-length novel that has been in existance (although has been completely revamped) since I was twelve (and I'm 20 now). And I would LOVE to get published one day. I'd just say go for your goal...shoot for those stars. If you think you have a good enough story...then by all means! =)
Have you heard of NaNoWriMo? It's National Novel Writing Month, and it takes place every November. The rundown is that you have to write a 50,000 word novelette in 30 days (1 month). You don't get a prize, just the fun and satisfaction if you reach the goal. It's awesome. I've participated three years in a row, now. Just go to www.nanowrimo.org Maybe i'll see you next year. =D
Just keep writing, and excersizing your creativity, and never get discouraged. =)|||Yes!|||Yes. I'd collaborate Star Wars Lord of the rings and Harry Potter. Not exactly sure on how that's possible, but i'd like to try.
