Elvis and Gwyneth Paltrow dream. odd but beautiful!?
the time was mid sixties. the place was a wooden shack in the outskirts of some city. me and a friend crept in. Elvis Presley (never was his fan or found him attractive) comes in, in his 30's. in a jean and a plaid shirt. he acts like an everyday boy that just has to put up with his fame. he was sweet and confused. i was in my teens and we kissed. it was very real, nothing sexual. a warm feeling overcame me. some fans were going to come in and he was melancholic but easy going -bored of it but was his work anyway. he had no attitude at all; a next door guy that becomes famous and he is dragged along but he is innocent to what really is going on. then i was watching this couple speak in some farm. their daughter was a prairie girl with long golden hair and very big blue eyes like an odd angel. i realize it's Paltrow, i'm in a theater and what a great actress she is, wasting her talent in movies. her mom had just died. i felt for her (her dad too was dead), atleast she has kids i thought

Beautiful dream though. Gwynie is a stage actress. Im not a huge fan of hers, maybe because she belongs more on the stage than in a Hollywood set box. There, I would absolutely love her, like Helen Mirren or Glenn Close... I think that is where her true art and talent lies. Hey, doesnt she always like to proclaim what an old time classic actor she is?
