How do I go about telling my parents I want to be an actor? It's been my dream for years.?
I have had much time to think about this and have decided that I want to go the full route while I'm still young. I'm 16 and I've always wanted to be an actor. I know that it's hard, I know about the odds against people are enormous but I still want to do it. I want to be one of those people that actually make it. I've done theater classes, taken part it my own schools play, even my friends say I should do it. The funny thing is that my parents say that I am most likely going to be an actor so it's quite strange that I don't have the words to tell them. I need some way to tell them, I want to tell them tomorrow (Friday), but I don't know exactly how to do so. How should I go about doing this?

It's been my dream for years.?ms stressi am 14 and since i was like 9 or 10 i wanted to be an actress but i was afraid my parents wouldn't like the idea or laugh at it but i just started joining things and i was asking to take acting classes and eventually i was in the car and i said to my mom that i wanted to do a commercial and that i wanted to be an actress and i was glad she agreed :). just tell her that u want to be in a movie and she'll understand
