ppl say that i sould take theater, which is fine, but what i want to do is just plain acting. so what do i take an where do i go!! plz help! i here of ppl saying that they are taking "acting classes" but ive never actually heard of ppl offering acting classes i dont know what to do! plz help me! ps i know i might not become famous i know all that, but i might as well try, if i have a dream, the only thing i can do is try my best to fullfill it, which is what i'm trying to do but have no idea how.

Being a good actress isn't just about taking classes. It takes a certain kind of person to be an actress. If your all ready out of your shell then go for any kind of acting experience you can get...school plays, theater classes, etc. If your shy though breaking out of your shell is the most important thing right now. Try going somewhere that forces you to interact with people or get a job working with people. If being shy isn't your problem then do anything RESPECTABLE to get attention. Even if your the best looking girl in the world and you can knock out your lines on the first try everytime it wont matter if no one ever sees you. Put your self out there! Also a lot of good actress didn't start there, they were found doing something else. Above everything else, be yourself and if it's what you truly want go at it with all your heart.
