Registering a mix breed to compete in AKC companion animal events?
I know that the AKC allows you t register mix breed dogs to compete in companion events such as rally, obedience and agility as long as they are spayed and such but I can't find the form on the web site. Does someone know what it is called? Its a program similar to the UKC's LP program.

sorry, but AKC does NOT register mixed breeds to compete in events. AKC will only register purebreds that are AKC recognized breeds and some FSS breeds to compete in their non-conformation events. Its their ILP listing.

Although mixes are just as capable of peforming these events, AKC is pretty snobbish when it comes to purebred dogs.
Here is a registry for mixed breed dogs to compete in events.. the dogs must be s/n to be registered. They can earn titles on their names.
