Worried about world events?
is it normal to worry about events you have no control over. and i mean really worry, like feel physically sick.
the credit crunch and possible world resession terrifys me with the possible consiquences, and if i am awake at night i cant stop worrying about it.
my hubby thinks it's daft to panic when i have no control of the outcome. does anyone else feel this way? could it be linked to my previous depression?

It could definitley be linked to your depression. You can be concerned about those things without making yourself sick over them. Hell, I'm concerned about the economy too - but I have hope (false or not) that the people I vote for will do thier jobs and fix the horrible mess they've made.

I always thought that was a female trait in general; it's part of your make-up. Men are more able to compartmentalize stuff and keep them more in perspective. Faith that a Greater Power has things in control helps.|||I too|||I'd suggest seeing a psychiatrist, because this sounds like severe anxiety disorder.
It's not normal, but it does happen to a lot of people. There are medications and other techniques to lessen anxiety, so there is hope, don't worry.
