Any tips out there on maintaining your own natural hair underneath a sew in hair extension?getting late

to be honest, ur own hair shud be just fine, the weave in method of extensions is better for ur own hair a chane to grow healthy.

i have weave in extensions myself...and my own is have been just fine,

products ive found tht respond well to the wefts are:

shampoo: matrix biolage ultra hydrating shampoo

conditioner: tigi dumb blonde conditioner, matrix biolage ultra hydrating balm or aussie 3 min miracle

leave in conditioner: aussie hair insurance and tigi dumb blonde

defrizz cream/serum: tigi ego boost, tigi girls toys

dont 4get tho, with any type of hair extensions, eventually they lose their shine and softness due to the fact tht when they are being chemically treated to bcome extensions, the cuticle layer in the hair usually is stripped off (cuticle is what makes hair soft/shiny) and they coat the hair in silicone and enzymes and over time this wears off
