Can anyone tell me how to find out what an application / program does, from the file/path name/extension?opera singer

type in the exe or dll in google.

there are pages that tell you what they are.

for instance, today i noticed the process:

dashboardservice.exe

what the **** is this I thought.

typed it in.

saw it was some MS java thing
