Can you mass tag people on Facebook notes, events, etc.?

I've always wondered how all these random people keep inviting me to events that aren't even at my school and how people tag all of their friends on their Facebook notes without selecting everyone individually. Does anyone know if there's a way to mass tag friends or select all?

You can't really select all, per se, but it is easily to invite all of your friends. When you create a group or event, you have the option of inviting friends by checking their box and sending an invitation. It might take a while if someone has a lot of friends, but they can invite all of there friends in a short period of time. Subsequently, if the group/event settings allow it, anyone who is in the group can also invite their friends.

If someone who is not your friend has invited you to an event/group, they probably saw your name RSVPed for another event/group similar to their own, and decided to invite you through a Facebook search.
