Yes, it's basically cause you don't want to disappear, and your progeny too.|||I agree with chem sickle.|||Perhaps it's a subconscious thing, because the way eternal lifeists talk there won't be any sex after death. Which means it's just an extension of marriage.|||Only the mormons THINK they will have several wives in the afterlife.The bible says we will not be given in marriage in the afterlife.|||I believe that they are probably part of the same mechanism or at least the same part of the brain. The part of our primitive brain that drives us to mate and ensure that part of us lives on past our own lives.|||Its just wishful thinking. The worst thing that can happen to an human is that they die. Over millions of years, the ones with the greatest fear of death would breed more successfully, thus strengthening that urge until it becomes logical to hope we can live forever.|||Actually I think I am craving a turkey sub right now.... with extra pickles.... yummy!
