DANCE leg extension! PLEASE help... : )?
hey everyone!
ok im 13 years old and i still dont have my leg extensions! it has been driving me crazy! i know that im a good dancer but the extensions are killing me! : (
can anyone please help me on any tips AND how to build up the thigh muscles and appropriate muscles to do these tricks!?

Also, put yourself into the "split position", but bend both of our legs in. does that make sense? So, both of your legs are pulled towards you, and stretch that way. Once your body doesn’t hurt in that position anymore, start opening up ur front and back legs slowly. Eventually, you'll be able to straighten out one leg then you can do both!!! Oh yeah, and DONT BOUNCE! That can hurt your legs really badly. When i finally got my right leg splits, i did them all day for 2 days. The next day, my leg was stiff. I had pulled the hamstring in my right leg! be careful! You have to keep stretching otherwise u’ll lose flexibility. If you stretch every single day (aprox 30 min) you should be able to do it. You're under 16 you are still flexible (if you're over age 16 then you are beginning to lose flexibility). Keep stretching!
