Does anyone think that A) Dream Theater, and B) Concrete Blonde are hugely underrated??

Both ARE hugely underrated. Period.

I only wish that CB would make another just like Mexican Moon.

And Dream Theater? Too bad every musician isn't as brilliant as Mike Portnoy and John Petrucci. I've owned every one of their albums at least twice. Not a band in existence comes even close in talent as that of DT. I do hope Jordan stays in their line-up. He's their best yet.

Dream Theatre has some very talented musicians. I have owned a couple of thier CDs and occaisonally listen to them to just appreicate the technical difficulty of what they are doing individually and together. It is too busy however to really move me. I never get a groove going, it's always interupted by a burst of somebody proving how good they are on that instrament. So I don't like thier stuff in that sense. It also has too much of a jazzy sound in many tunes. Fans of Jazz Fusion I think would really like Dream Theatre.

I've only heard a few Concret Blonde tunes. Liked a couple of them. Can't name one off hand.
