I will be in Milan this weekend and would like to know if there's anything happening in or around downtown (Duomo?) this weekend.

The Eurotribu ' festival is running - jazz concerts at various places around Milan over a two week period. I think the website for the schedule should be: www.ponderosa.it

There's also a new Leonardo ds Vinci exhibit at Palazzo della Ragione (5 euro entrance fee).

The events that look the best to me this weekend that are easily accessible by train from Milan are -

The truffle festival in Alba is a bit of a hike, but it's well worth the trip. Famous chefs from around the world show up for the event. http://www.fieradeltartufo.org/
