Extension Lens?

I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ20 and am happy with that but am looking for a bit more zoom because they quality of the picture greatly decrease in digital zoom...

would an extension lens be the way to go? If so, what extension lens would be best?

If Panasonic offers an auxiliary lens kit buy it. If not, ignore all the "never heard of that company" brands commonly found on eBay.

Even the Panasonic one (if available) will cause some loss of image quality and light loss.

you should definatley get an extension lense but unfortunatley i dont know which lense to get for i have not experience with that camera, but your right, once you get into the digital zoom range your quality of the photo greatly decreases the furthur you go into the picture, sounds like a really expensive camera though, wish you the best of luck my friend
