You could also write about the progressive presidents and their economic policies, such as Wilson's Underwood Tariff, which lowered tariffs and provided for an income tax. Or Taft's "dollar diplomacy" regarding Latin American nations. How about Jackson's war on the bank? He killed the Second Bank of the US.
