Hair (extension) dye problem?

okay i want to dye my hair a different PROBLEM: i want to keep my current extensions instead of waisting my money on new ones. i was wondering if i died my real hair && my extensions would the colors match up?

Possibly... you can never be sure of the outcome. I think it's a bad idea.

It's actually ok if they don't match up because it'll give your hair the look of having highlights & low lights. I have extensions that are a dark brown color and my own hair color is pretty light blonde and it looks good with the darker extensions underneath.|||are they real hair extensions? if so i would dye the extensions first to see how well they take. if they dont match you can add some hilites to break up the colour a bit|||OK.. is the extensions real human hair???? or r they horse hair???? make sure b 4 u dye|||that won't work.1-the color will not be the same.

2-the hair extension is already processed,it will get dry,brittle and the hair will swell up like a sponge/Brillo pad

I do extension myself ,you would be better off just getting hair that matches after you dye it. i hope i was helpful :)
