Hair weave/extension help?
I have a couple questions about this.
First off, I hope this doesn't come off as racist, but are hair weaves just for black people? I want 22" extensions and hair weaves seem to come in wefts, so I was thinking about getting them and glueing it in. Is that a good idea?
These are the ones I was looking at:
http://www.hairtrade.com/product_info.ph...
Also, how many weaves do you think I would need for a full set?
Do you see any better extensions on that site? I don't want clip-in because it would be too big of a hassle to put in all the time.
Lastly, what extensions are the best? I have shouldlength hair that I'm pretty bored with. :P
Thanks so much for your time & help. :D
Hair weave/extension help?opera singerI will try to give you as much help as I can, when I wore them, I was the weave queen (lol). First thing, yes, anyone can get a weave, black or not.
I do not know if you are doing them yourself, but no, I would not suggest you glue your tracks in. Because, even going to a specialist, glueing in extensions can cause lots of damage to your real hair. But if you just want something temporary, or you just don't have the time/money/desire for any other method, I would suggest you going ahead with the glue-in route. It's somewhat tedious though, having someone help you would be a good idea. But so you know, with glue-in extensions, it's not possible to have a "full head"; meaning, some of your real hair will be exposed which is known as a "partial weave."
