Has anyone been to a Dream Theater concert?opera singer

Saw them live in San Antonio back in 1993 in a little place downtown. They had the Galactic Cowboys opening for them. The show lasted less than three hours and was not too bad but they had little stage presence at the time. The drum solo was pretty good (reminded me of early Neil Peart) but also fell short with time. I would like to see them again sometime and see if they worked out the kinks in the live show.

They are one of the best bands around at the moment - live they are better than they are on CD. Have you heard the new CD....."Systematic Chaos"? It is THE most metal they have ever been. Awesome.

Do yourself a favor and go see them live...|||i was given free tix. i went inside the 2300 person venue. it was half full, all men, no women. they were loud, no singing, long solos, and a bunch of dorks. i left after 20, enough time to finish my free drink.|||Dude, if you really are a fan of progressive rock/metal music, you have got to watch them live before you die.
