Help dying my hair extension?

I bought clip in hair extensions then dyed my hair blonde. He extensions have a lot of red in them and is dark blonde. I have tried to dyes on the extensions and have not been able to change the color. Any suggestions?

If the hair extension is synthetic then it wont color...its not real hair so it wont take color. If it is real hair then it will, if the hair is dark you have to bleach it to lighten it up...if its light you can use hair dye to deepen the color.....basically you cant really go from dark to light color by just hair dye-colorant--you would need bleach. Synthetic hair is a fiber not porous like real hair--hope this helps.

Seriously...unless they're made of actual human hair I don't think you can dye them
