Let me tell you something. I have a driver's license and as an owner of a vehicle, I'm required by law to maintain insurance on that vehicle. If I fail to make my payment on my insurance and my policy lapses, the Dept. of Motor Vehicles sends me a letter to let me know that I have to fix that immediately or they will suspend my Driver's license. If I don't fix the problem and I get pulled over without proof of insurance, I GO To JAIL, my vehicle get's towed and impounded, I will be fined.
