How do i get celebrities to come to my events?

i'm PR/Marketing director at a hospital in rural Southern Indiana. I would like to get celebrities to come to our charity events? What is the best way to contact them and where do i find their addresses or emails?

If you will not be paying them you might look to see if you can find any celebs that live in or near Southern Indiana, and or any celebs that have intrest in what kinda charity your involved with. Good Luck!

Through their agents|||Most celebrities have managers or pr agents that you go through. You can get them to come, but you usually have to pay a good sized fee. Even for charities.|||Must propose some incentives to them, color of the incentive may be green.|||You will have to pay for their flights (1st class)/hotel(five star) and put on a decent party. Contact the agents of the celebs you are interested in.|||a lot of performers and actors have sites on (MySpace) they are monitored by a rep, but its a good place to start.|||You could pretend BIGGER celebrities were going to be there at the same time, and when the guys you want turn up just say, "He, er, has left the building"|||Well of course you could start with Agents but that could take days to reach individual agents especially sense they are so "busy". If you use a PR company, they can reach the agents and let the celebrity's know about your events. Some will come just on that alone. However if they are bigger celebrity's such as Jessica Simpson. You would probably have to try and contact her assistant or agent.
