I've tried downloading WinRar and UnRar but still can't open the pics

How do you open pictures that were sent to me with extension .rar?the grand theater

If it doesn't open with WINRAR the file is corrupted..

If the file was lets say pic.rar , then its a RAR file , now if the pic was SAVE has pic.rar , and not has in any pic format file , then just do a rename on it , with the extension .jpg or .bmp|||Open .RAR files with WinRAR. If that isn't working, the .RAR file is corrupt.
