This is a broad metaphysical question. I think the term "physical object" conveys the sense of something being experienced as touchable and the term "change-events" conveys the sense of something temporary in time being witnessed or something one is part of without being necessarily touchable.

Anyway, I guess what I believe is that in this life, on this earth, everything is temporary. Sure tangible things are the most touchable things--but those temporary events are very real. They exist as they happen and in our memory they live on and have in some way a life of their own. So change events are reality. Physical things--just there.
