I don't want to see the group events on my calendar. But I don't want to delete them from

I can't leave the group because it's my family, and they'll get their feelings hurt, but all of their announcements and events really clutter up my calendar. Is there a way to limit my view, so that I don't have to see all of that? Or can I delete them from just my calendar, without deleting from the whole group's calendar?

go to mail- click calendar tab- top right click option- top right click Time Guides- scroll list and uncheck group(s) click save
