Have you got all the formats downloaded to your player? so many formats around now. Try looking for k lite codecs on net

it means that you have to use the internet to find a file to play the media file if you select browse on tools from the main menu you should be able to selct a program it would usually be quicktime or a newer version of media player you might not have hope this helps.|||You may have downloaded a music file that MediaPlayer can't play,

like realmedia files (you would need the Real Player), ram files, flv (flash movie video).

Check your Media Player settings to see what files it can play. You probably will find that your extension is not on the list.

If so, find out the file extension you want to play, and enter it into your browser to find out what program you need to play the file.

Also, if the extension does not match the format, it could mean the file was/needs to be renamed, (i.e. .txt to .wmv ) or that the file became corrupted.
