i think it is time to put him in a low bed, with the side bars that you can get so that they don't roll out when they are asleep. My second son done that at thay age, that was when we thought we should put him in a bed. He still likes to climb about still, he is now 6.

Yeah put him in a toddler bed mine has been in one since 13 months with no problems.|||my daughter tried it once, and fell... she has never tried it again. threatened to do it to see my reaction, but not actually done it.... her cot is low to the ground though. if the cot is high, then just get him a bed, at least if he falls it won't be from such a high place.|||It's time to get him a toddler bed.

Our son did the same thing at 18 months. Not only would he try to climb out but he refused to go to sleep period -- and when we would rock him to sleep he'd wake up immediately when we placed him in his cot.
