I have a jacuzzi spa that is 25 watts and I need to use a power cord (extension)?classical music25 watts or 25 kw? i will assume it is 25kw as 25 watts is not enough to run motor to circulate water....at 220 volts that is 11 amps or at 110 volts that is 22 amp....if it is 220 volt then you need a #12awg cord to run it....if it is 110 volts then you need a number #10awg cord to run it...I would suggest you run some wire through conduit and hook it directly to your breaker box ..or have an electrician come and do this for you...it also needs to be on a gfi breaker....

Do not use a power cord. Have an electrician hard-wire an outdoor/indoor receptacle.|||Very Dangerous! First according to National Electric Code Article 680 the Spa has to be wired with a GFCI protection so you don't get electrocuted. Next the manufacture may required the spa to have a full size insulated grounding conductor. Please hire a reputable electrician to put it in so you and your friends have a LONG life. As for 25 watts I think you may mean amps and the minium wire size for 25 amps would 10awg copper.|||25 watts is like a very dim lightbulb.Hmmm.
