I have an elbow-length, black and straight hair. Can I add volume by going for a hair extension?
Volume can be added by a few different methods. Have your stylist cut your hair in layers. After you wash it, blow your hair dry while bent upside down. Volumizing shapoos can work, but they leave residue and if used for prolonged periods of time will actually weigh hair down and make it look like it has less volume. Using such a shampoo before a big day/night however, would add a much need boost at just the right time.

i want hair like u how did u get it like long and what natio are u|||Ask your stylist to razor it. He/she will (hopefully) cut layers around your face, at a length to suit your face shape. Foils around your face will also help create the illusion of body. Blow-drying it with a diffuser will also help. GHD sea-spray is great. Good luck!|||You can add layers into ur hair so u get volume..
