I have downloaded a file with .exe extension, with what program i can open it?
This sounds pretty serious, if you're a windows user that is. Do you normally haev extentions hidden? Maybe it has two (.exe.vb?). Could be a virus.
Or perhaps, something really strange happened to your file associations. Which mean you would have to possibly repair install windows...
If this is Linux or Mac you're fine.

.... Windows should open exe files on its own. If the .exe file is not opening when you double click it or whatever then 1) its a corrupt file 2) has wrong extension 3) what i think, probably a virus. Most backdoors or trojans have a .exe extension and when you try to open them, either nothing will appear to happen or a black screen will open and close really fast..|||As far as I know, if it is an .exe file you should be able to doubleclick it and it will open itself.|||For Windows double click the exe file. For other OS I don't think you can execute exe|||A .exe is an executable file, meaning that it doesn't need a program to open it. It is a program itself. Beware of opening it unless you downloaded it from a reputable source, as it could be a virus, ad-ware, mal-ware, etc....
