I need help with .avi extension files?

I downloaded a yugioh episode that had an .avi extension, and everytime I play the media file, I only get the sound but the picture doesn't show and this file goes to the Window Media Player. Can anyone tell me what I need to fix or change? I would appreciate that, thank you.

It sounds like that .AVI file requires the use of the Divx codec. Either that or the Xvid codec.

I don't recommend installing the Xvid codec unless the Divx codec doesn't work. Xvid just isn't used as widely as Divx, but I wanted to include both for you just in case.

You simply install the files once you download them. Its very self-explanatory.
