I have tried to find girls my age at shopping centers and bookstores, but there just are not that many there. I have tried to stay away from big social gatherings because whenever I do go near young white or black guys my age, they stare at me with real angry looks and even point at me; especially if they are with their girlfriends ( I am mixed white/sioux indian, I look like a spaniard). I am afraid that if I try to mingle with young women at some type of event, some white or black guy will jump me! It is as if the thought of some foriegn-looking guy making a move on a white girl would set them off! Does anyone think I should try anyways? Can concerts or live-music venues be dangerous even if you fit in?

I personally don't see why ethnicity should matter too much to others. Sure there are somes reasons need not detail on them but they are nothing of problem.

You should fit in at the concert as long as you are interested in it. Everyones there for the same thing (well most) and that means similair interests and such.

So short answer, no your ethinicity should not cause you trouble within reason, the people it may irritate are just punks.
