In your opinions, what are the single most important events during the reigns of Mary II/William III, Anne, George I, and George II?

William and Mary - probably the fact that they came to power. The GLorious Revolution greatly decreased the power of the monarchy and gave more power to the democratic (or at least somewhat democratic parliament)

Anne - The declaration of war against Louis XIV of France during the War of Spanish Succession

George I - The Act of Union 1707 - with the formal unification of England and Scotland and the creation of Great Britain

George II - because of George's lack of control (either due to inability or disinterest) over government led to the first Prime Minister of the government - Sir Robert Walpole

However, it could also be the involvement of England in the War of Austrian Succession or the Battle of Culloden
