Personally, I think you mean the USA, but, as a Canadian, I would say the most significant event that happened in Canada, that in my view is spiritual, is the much deserved acquittal of a wrongfully convicted man after he waited nearly 50 years to clear his name(initially, he was even sentenced to hang for this crime, which he clearly did not commit).

Thank God, he is now been vindicated.

The Mystery of God came closer to the earth, and did judge those who follow the sharp sickle dipped in blood.|||Getting rid of Ted Haggard was a step in the right direction.|||Saddam Hussein hanged.|||Ted Haggard getting outed by a male prostitute is up there with the top ten. Then after getting ousted from his church sending out mail to his former parishoners asking for money; priceless. It may not be what you're looking for because it had a negative impact,but it did have an impact.|||I think that one thing making a difference is the now Democratic liberal Congress being the majority will make a huge difference in this country (USA) and not bashing the democrat party but they are more liberal and that is not a good thing. We need to if anything pull closer to a more conservative position to keep this country from becoming completely Godless (my opinion). So I guess that just means we conservative Christians will have to pray a little more and a lot harder for this country and it's leaders. God be with us and help us to see what we are doing.|||You know,, this is sad, I know of nothing good to bring America up, But we lost more and more from the ACLU sticking their nose in.. I guess our Church will be the next they go after.But this has to come, so our Savior, can come and takes us home. You know what get me through this, is the fact the ones changing the rules and calling the shots are the very ones that are going to be left here to live under their own Rulings . Can you even image, with out God and Him removing His Spirit, what days those will be. I think He so close ,we better mind where we blow our steam, it may be blown in His most Blessed face. .Because he loves us and He knows,what we are going through. But what worries me the most, is the junk our kids are getting fed at school. more and more people around here are home schooling their children.
