What events in Pride and Prejudice led Elizabeth to fall in love with Darcy?

Her feelings start to shift after he makes his proposals. She says at the end of chapter 33 that despite his rudeness, she was gratified by the strength of his affection, and even pitied him, until she remembered how proud he was. She gets a better opinion of him after reading his account of his dealings with Wickham. She is struck by a realization of how prejudiced she was against Darcy, that she would believe such absurdly abomindable accounts, when she knows from her aquaintace with him that, despite his pride and haughtiness, he is a good man. This realization and the guilt that comes with it help improve him in her eyes. At this point, she by no means loves him or even likes him, but the redemption of his character is necessary for her to fall in love with him.

Then she sees Pemberly. The effect this has on her you can judge from the passage in Chapter 43:

"And of this place,'' thought she, "I might have been mistress! With these rooms I might now have been familiarly acquainted! Instead of viewing them as a stranger, I might have rejoiced in them as my own, and welcomed to them as visitors my uncle and aunt. -- But no,'' -- recollecting herself, -- "that could never be: my uncle and aunt would have been lost to me: I should not have been allowed to invite them.'' This was a lucky recollection -- _it saved her from something like regret_.

Then the housekeeper begins to extol the wonders of Mr. Darcy. "Elizabeth listened, wondered, doubted, and was impatient for more [discussions of Mr. Darcy]. Mrs. Reynolds [the housekeeper] could interest her on no other point." And then, upon hearing more about Mr. Darcy, she thinks "In what an amiable light does this place him!"
