Starting with a massive propaganda campaign against the German people to demonize the Jews. Then slowly taking away their rights, then their assets and property and finally the last step to concentration camps where they did hard labour for what would be the rest of their lives. The holocost was put into high gear during WW2 and finally ended as camps were liberated by allied forces. Evan as the Allies were tightening their strangle hold on Germany, Hitler had even more resources put towards the extermination of Jews.
