With the Death of HD-DVD will Microsoft make a Blu Ray Drive extension similar to HD-DVD that is out

I'm sure we've all heard that HD-DVD extension player has dropped to 49.99 (still to high considering it is basically a door stop now) for the Xbox 360

With that said does anyone think there is a chance they will make a Blu Ray extension drive or just leave it alone all together?

Microsoft went on record saying they WOULD consider making a Blu-Ray extention for the 360 before there was a clear "winner" in the format war.

So yes, I believe they will.

My guess is that they will make one, and I believe there are fairly reliable rumors that would suggest they've already started planning one. The only other option I could see them doing is really pushing and developing digital movie downloads, but I don't think most people are ready or want to get all their movies like that.|||It's very likely... Rumors say it will be released in may... they could also be making a console with it built in... who knows?
