3 days late, negative pregnancy tests..Did I test too early?
I got off the birth control shot 4 months ago in December...I had my first period on the 31st of Jan. then I had my second period feb. 23 and then my last period on march 20th. They were all exactly 25 days apart. I was supposed to start my period April 13th and I am now 4 days late. I have had some symptoms like nausea with no vomiting, extreme fatigue, bloating, high temps, and have had period-like cramps but no bleeding. I have taken 2 pregnancy tests and both negative. Could it be that I tested too early?
3 days late, negative pregnancy tests..Did I test too early?hollywood theaterIt may be some time before your cycle is truly regular again, even though your most recent periods have been the same number of days apart. If you want a definitive answer as to whether or not you are pregnant, see your OB/gyn...they can do a blood test to tell you for sure or perhaps otherwise explain your symptoms. Good luck!

You could have tested too early or there could be some other causes for your symptoms and you may not be pregnant.|||Most likely, wait another week or so until you take another test. Otherwise, it sounds like you are pregnant. You could also talk to your doctor.|||I think it is normal that our cycle is changing. my cycle is also adjusting and always late up to one week. So in one year i got only 11 times.|||When i got off Depo Prevera i was late three months, but was bleeding non-stop for six while on the shot. but my friend was nearly two months late and all her tests were negative or inconclusive. Sometimes the baby just wants to be a surprise. The most positive way is a blood test, if you think you are pregnant you should see a doctor right away, they test to make sure nothing is wrong with the baby.|||maybe you tested early, give yourself a week and test again. otherwise the best way to know is to check with your doctor. from your simptom it sounds like you pregnant, but simptoms are different for everyone, see your doctor.|||Period like cramps are not a sign of pregnancy but your other symptoms are but they are also a sign of your period about to happen. The test depends on what brand you use. Some tests detect a very small amount of the hormone (cant remember what its called now) in your urine which indicates pregnancy, while other brands need more of the hormone to detect pregnancy. So, some brands you can test early others you have to wait until the pregnancy hormone has multiplied more. To be sure, you can get a blood test.|||You're not pregnant so don't worry.|||Probably, try again in a week or get a more sensitive test.|||I always have had the same problem. I am a pregnant mother of three. I knew I was pregnant this time, but the doctor's test was negative even when I was a few days late. My doctor told me to take care of myself like I was pregnant and test once a week until my period started. A couple days later, I took a home test and it was positive. Later that day, the doctor's test was positive. The test just measures the amount of pregnancy hormone, and each person produces different amounts, and it increases every day. I recommend the First Response brand. It has the earliest result I have found. Good luck!
