I am a week and a half late for my period so I took a HPT 3 days ago and it was negative. But STILL no AF. i am usually very regular. I would be about 5 weeks if I am PG. Has anyone gotten a Negative but then gotten a positive a little bit later?

my best friend didn't test positive till she was 11 wks so ur hcg levels may not be high enough. and that happends to alot of women. but u may just be stressing about it and it might be making ur peroid a little late also but just wait about another week and test again. and u might be in the same boat as me im 2 weeks late and still no sign of my period and i have all the symptoms and i tested last monday and it was negative so im testing in the morning and if its still negative im going to my appointment on thursday but best of luck hun!!

It happens, but I would say that if it says negative, you probably aren't... take another one in a week if you don't get your period. Are you on birth control? That can sometimes affect your period too...|||Usually after you have missed your period, the tests are fairly reliable. I would wait a week and test again.....|||not all HPT show positive for some people....go to the doc and request a blood test...it will def show if you are pregnant...if not then there is a reason y you arent having a period and the doc should be able to tell y.|||I couldn't get an HPT or a test through the doctor's office to be positive until I was almost 8 weeks pregnant! I am now 36 1/2 weeks along but in the beginning I guess my HCG levels were just too low.

Try again in a week or two, in the meantime try not to think about it (as hard as that is going to be).
