there haven't been any problems with the condoms, but i know my body, and i don't even FEEL slightly menstrual right now (even though i should be getting my period anytime now) yet, i don't feel normal.

i'm very nervous, and i need to know when being late becomes more of an issue, and what my next steps should be.

i know this is kind of dumb, please help!

You can test the day you miss your period and get a fairly accurate result. Since you say that you are nearly a week late, take a home pregnancy test and see whether it is pos or neg. That would be the best place to start. No need to get yourself upset or nervous or worried if you're not pregnant. If the test is negative, wait a week and if still no period, take another home pregnancy test and see what that result is. At that point if that test is negative I would consider calling my doctor to make an appointment.

if you're already late then you can go ahead and take a pregnancy test.

if you're usually regular, then i'd take the test.|||Its less than a week....its too early to freak out. the more you freak out about it the longer it might take. Just relax....dont stress about it...wait one more week and then if you still havent started, go buy a home pregnancy test :)|||My docs have said that real life, real human use, effectivness of condoms is really only about 85% so you're not being dumb, you're exactly right, that your next step is to test...might as well do it, so you can stop the stress of wondering.
