I need to know if there is some where to go for help on getting my 3 little boys Christmas this year

Google

My mother always managed to make us feel like we were getting lots of presents even though looking back a lot of our presents were stuff we had to have anyway.... like sheets, towels, etc in a special colour.... school stuff (it was always confiscatted the day after christmas so we didnt weck it) and our santa sack always had our favourite fresh fruits in it too like a mango, some cherries, and a couple of peaches...

So dont limit what you think your boys should have to only fun stuff... honestly either I am slow or it is common for kids to not figure out their mothers tricks till they are old enough to understand that the money just wasnt there...

Get the boys together and make special decorations together to decorate your house. colour some macaroni in red and green food colouring and let them string it up....

If the boys are older then show them how to make paper chains... honestly my kids and I did this every year leading up to christmas for many years...and it was a great time to get toether and catch up the news of each ones life and talk about happy things.. of course a bowl of lollies on the table while we were making paper chains helped keep them interested too...

Also try Anglicare, St Vincent De Pauls, and ask at your local council chambers too.... they often know of what is going on in there area and where you can get help..

I know asking is hard but really so many other people have experienced a tough christmas that we can relate to it and understand.|||God Bless you and your children. I of course will keep you in my prayers. I too have recently been through some tough situations and I can empathize the situation that you are in. Being as that I am only a teenager and having to hold things up and keep a smile on my face for my little brother and my mom. My mom can empathize with you more, too. What I would try to do, (this was done for my family one and a half years ago so we could get food, but it can also work for Christmas gifts, clothing etc.) is to talk to your children's schools. They can set up annomyous fund raisers. They can do it in a way that not even your kids will know that they are benefiting from it. I would also talk to ALL local churches. Try also going to other towns and food banks outside of your community they could probably help you too.

I will pray for you and your kids to have a Merry Christmas and for things to improve.God Bless You

Sara|||go to your church service.|||Christmas has nothing to do with christ. Don't let the calendar dictate whether you should buy for your kids. If you feeel that your kids need clothes, food, etc. The most high god will provided. Do not feel left out for your kids.
