I am 12, and I have not gotten my period yet. It was my first time having it on august 29. It is now October 8. Why hasn't it come yet? Is there something I should know, you know for me being late? I mean I'm totally positive I havent ever "done it" before so why?

sweetie calm down it is perfectly normal to have irregular periods when you first start having you mens's ... if you would like to have a more date to date start .. speak to your doc about birth control .. it will regulate you cycles for you

I would say wait it out til the end of this week. If it doesn't come by then then you should go see your doctor. Sometimes different factors effect when your period comes.|||When you are this young your period is still irregular. It is normal for you to skip periods at this point. It takes about 2 to 4 years for a girls flow to regulate itself. So give it time and don't worry you are fine.|||it takes a while for it to come regularly.. no worries|||Because you're young they'll be totally random for about 2 years, it's just a part of life!|||It is normal to not be regular for the first year or so. There is nothing abnormal right now sweetheart.|||Most girls are irregular when they first start their periods. As time goes by your body should regulate itself and you'll have a period every month around the same time. If you never regulate you can always see a doctor who can put you on medications that will help.|||Dont worry about it i was 12 when i first got mine and i was irregular it happen once or twice then i didnt for another yr or so..i think its usually irregular when it happens at a young age...|||Honey, don't worry about it. Every girls are difference time to time when you get a period. But you will get it.. Could be next day, week, month and even a year. If you get older and this bothers you, you can go to your doctor and he will prescribe you bc pills to have your periods on time, even tough it is not necesary you could.

Stress also delays your period, so don′t stress or it will take more to come.
