I'm getting in 3 months...is it too late to have my dress made?

I order a dress from David's Bridal and I don't like the way it looks on me. My little sister got married last in July and I tried on her dress a few months before she got married (for laughs and giggles). At the time it fitted me very nice and so I was think I would just wear hers, but when I recently tried it on I couldn't even zip it up...so now I was thinking of having my dress made.

You are going to be cutting it kind of close and probably will have to pay a rush fee.....but it can be done. I would start looking for a seamstress right away.

Three months is cutting it pretty short. Is there anyway that you could possibly alter the dress that you have ordered from the bridal shop|||to be honest i don't think so i just put my order in for my dress and it Is taking like 10 months to make, why don't you try getting the dress you already have altered, it would be cheaper and would take only a month or so at a good dress maker1 you could also try getting a off the rack dress but you would have to shop around a lot and quickly too as they my not have your size and my have to have it sent over from another store or even country|||You can still wear hers, just work on losing weight so it will fit. It is too late to get something made to fit, it usually takes 6 months for this. Why did you order the dress you did if you don't like the way it looks on you? Surely you would have tried it on first?? I think losing weight is the way to go. You should sell the David's bridal dress if you are not going to wear it to get some money back.
