I'm three weeks late...help!!!?
I've asked a few questions, and this continues to be ongoing. But I'd rather not go to the doctor unless I get a positive HPT. I am three weeks late for my period. *sigh* Now, I took a test about a week and a half after I missed it..with first morning urine. It was a DG brand test, and it came up negative. A friend of mine had a left over digital test, and I took it late at night and the test read "not pregnant" and this was just a few nights ago, to be more specific on the time frame. I took the test out to throw it away but there was a faint second line. Should I try to test again??? I've had nausea, heartburn, gas, and I've been tired and a little on the moody side..
ALSO...I had a MC in April, and my periods went back to "normal" around July (after a prescription from my OBGYN to bring on my period). I've had two or three periods since my MC. My cycles are 42 days long.
I'm three weeks late...help!!!?soap operaWhen the test strip is ejected from the digital reader, there are lines on it. And, because it's in our nature, we peestickaholics want to analyze those lines. The test instruction booklet says the lines "must" be disregarded.
The lines on the digital test stick (both Clearblue Easy Digital and e.p.t. Certainty) do not mean anything. They cannot be read like a regular test. The digital test sticks detect both hCG (pregnancy hormone) and LH (which "surges" around ovulation, but is present in some quantity nearly all the time.) Therefore, most women will have 2 lines on a digital test stick, even those who are not pregnant.
