I'm worried it's too late for me to ever go to college now?

I'm 16 and a freshman in high school. When I started the year, I was doing pretty well. My final grade for the end of the first semester ended up being an A, two B's and a C, not that great. The real bothersome problem though was that I had like 9 absences. The very limit is 8. I was able to not fail because I made up some time. Nearly all of these absenses were unexcused, and I got them because I couldn't get out of bed in the morning. It's still over a month until the end of the year, and I've racked up 9 MORE this semester, because I've been even more fatigued. I'm totally hopeless now. The colleges will look at all these absenses, my falling grades, and never accept me. And I think it's too late to turn it around. Does anyone know what I can do?

I have known people getting in fantastic universities with half a year of bunking school. You are 16, you have 2 years to improve your grade. Besides your grade are not the only reason that are taken into consideration, your SAT score, essays, activities all form part of the admission process. Your attendance won't matter at all.
