If I file taxes a year late for CT, and I owed money, will they just bill me for what I owe plus int
I've been hesitant on filing, because I don't know how much I'll owe with interest. Has anyone ever just sent in the form without paying, for a year late, in Connecticut, and gotten a bill after the fact? Or do I have to call some kind of number? What do I do here? I don't have the money to spend on getting them done professionally.

I worked with a guy who would only file taxes every few years. I don't know why, but he did.....and when he would do three years in one and send them in, he would include his payments (no ineterest or anything added to total amount due) and he never heard from the IRS or his state about penalties and interest. He's 52 and he's been doing this for almost 30 years he says. So, maybe file with payment and see what happens if you can afford it?
Good luck!
